Henry YipHenry is a senior business executive, with an extensive background in the telecom industry (former Vice President of TELUS and Executive Vice President of Allstream (formerly AT&T)). He is involved in advisory roles for early stage companies and is active in evaluating and investing in early stage business ventures. He was the CEO of DriveABLE Assessment Centres Inc., and has served on and chaired many boards. In addition to chairing the advisory board for NIRIX, Henry also chairs on the advisory board for the Prototype Development Centres initiative, involving TRLabs, NAIT, SAIT and Red Deer College. An active member in the community, Henry is the vice chair of the University of Western Ontario Engineering Advisory Council. He is also involved in the Youth-In-Motion organization as a judge for the Top 20 Under 20 award and as a mentor for the winners of the award. He is also the chair of the Canadian Youth Business Foundation’s Edmonton-based Loan Review Committee.

Steven HsuSteven Hsu is the founder of NIRIX. In 2001, Steven started NIRIX in the true HP sense – as a “one man shop”, out of the basement of his home. Since 2001, with his personal business philosophy acting as his driving force, Steven has worked diligently over the decade in turning his vision into reality by recruiting talented people, developing new innovative product offerings, and delivering top-notch customer service.
Steven is responsible and overlooks the overall execution of the company strategy and growth. Since 2001, Steven has quickly and successfully transformed NIRIX twice over the decade. In 2004, NIRIX made the strategic decision to tranform its business revenue model from non-predictable revenue stream to subscription based model. By 2009, with the business transformation complete, Steven lead the charge and developed a forward looking five year strategic and operational action plan to further transform our product offering and corporate identity to aggressively engage and capitalize the “Cloud Computing” revolution in is now upon us. Today, NIRIX has five advanced cloud services designed to meet the requirements of the highly-regulated industries.
Stanford HsuStanford Hsu joined NIRIX in 2004. Prior to joining NIRIX, Stanford was responsible for the service development of various managed services implemented at the national level for TELUS Corporation in Calgary. Since joining the NIRIX team, Stanford’s focus has been on technical implementation and development of technology operational excellence.
Under Stanford’s guidance and direction, NIRIX has grown from operating servers in a “closet” to delivering advanced cloud services with guaranteed uptime and availability in a a world-class datacenter. With the projected growth ahead for NIRIX, Stanford’s focus will be on designing and implementing new cloud technologies such as virtualization, storage, load balancing, and advanced network security.
