Q. What is NIRIX oneCloud Control Panel?
A. NIRIX’s oneCloud Control Panel is a self-service web portal that allows administrators and end-users to make changes to NIRIX Cloud Computing services. This tool eliminates the need for customers to contact the NIRIX CustomerCare support technicians for basic tasks related to their service (some simple service changes, configurations and settings).
Q. How Do You Access NIRIX oneCloud Control Panel?
A. The oneCloud Control Panel is a Web-based hosting control panel, and can therefore be accessed online in real time from anywhere at any time, through any device with access to a standard web browser. Visit the NIRIX login page.
Q. Which of NIRIX’s oneCloud Services can be Managed Using the oneCloud Control Panel?
A. The oneCloud Control Panel has currently only been applied to NIRIX’s Hosted Exchange service as a Hosted Exchange control panel.
Q. What can Users Manage and Control Using the NIRIX oneCloud Control Panel?
A. The self-service features and capabilities that the oneCloud Control Panel will allow you to perform include many standard daily administrative tasks related to Hosted Exchange, including, but not limited to: adding new users and mailboxes, deleting mailboxes, password management, forwarding email from one mailbox to another, managing distribution lists and groups, managing aliases, managing Blackberry Enterprise Services (BES) and accounts, changing service plans, adding Outlook profiles, etc.
Q. How Do You Sign Up to oneCloud Control Panel?
A. NIRIX Hosted Exchange customers do not need to sign up for the oneCloud Control Panel as this tool is included in the service and will be configured when the service is provisioned.
Q. Is oneCloud Control Panel Secure?
A. The oneCloud Control Panel is secured, featuring password enabled security and Secure Socket Layer protection so all communication and data transfer is encrypted in real time using 128-bit encryption. You can also assign granular permission and security based on roles and groups within your organization.
