The Name – “NIRIX”
Over the years, many have asked what exactly does the word “NIRIX” mean. How was the name chosen? And why? For the past ten+ years, the team at NIRIX have never been able to answer this question directly. However, from the very beginning, the founder of NIRIX had wanted a name that was totally unique and maybe a little undefined. A decade has since passed and we are quite confident NIRIX remains undefined in a good way! We have done many Google, Yahoo, and Bing searches. Surprisingly enough, the search results only list our company. Therefore, at NIRIX, the word means “different”, to think out-of-the-box for solutions to complex business problems.
The Corporate Logo – The Cloud
The corporate logo is a symbol of a cloud representing NIRIX’s core competency in the Cloud Computing space. The three sections of the cloud logo represents the three most common models of Cloud Computing: Private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid cloud.
The Tagline – “Computing Differently”
Given that we have now defined what “NIRIX” means, our next step was to define what it is that NIRIX does that makes us uniquely different. All organizations are different from one another. At NIRIX, we compute differently, approach business problems differently, and look to deliver different solutions that ultimately add real value. At the heart and soul of our business, we deliver solutions where businesses are “computing differently” to maximize efficiency and reduce costs by leveraging the cloud to re-invent tomorrow.
