fastest growing companies in Alberta for 2009.
The Fast Growth 50 list recognizes growth-oriented businesses in Alberta and is produced annually
by Alberta Venture and KPMG. Companies selected for the list were featured in the January 2009
issue of Alberta Venture.

VenturePrize Competition, 2007

On May 3rd, 2007 Nirix participated in the final round of the Alberta VenturePrize competition.
Competing against two other finalists in the Fast Growth category. Nirix president and CEO, Steven
Hsu, gave a compelling final one minute pitch to a panel of judges and an audience of over 450 business
leaders from the local business community at the Edmonton Shaw Conference Centre. In addition to
